Shawn is born and raised Calgarian. After graduating from the University of Calgary with a BA, Shawn has worked in various industries ranging from oil and gas, sales, to fitness.  After trying his hand at a few different careers Shawn returned to the industry that he loves most, the hospitality industry. As an avid podcast listener, and after years of bartending and exchanging life stories with all sorts of interesting  people, Shawn realized he wanted to combine his passion for bars and podcasting. Joining up with his good friend and business partner Kass Kielly-Burke, they have created Kaks Bar and Podcast.  A place for people to come together for good food, cold beers, and also to experience the on site podcast studio. Allowing guests to capture and share their laughs, conversations, and memories.
